What is "Embracing the Dream"?

     Harold McAlindon once said, "Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."  Living Word Church is filled with trailblazers, that sole purpose and mission is to blaze a trail so that others may come to find salvation.  In order for us to have an explosive impact on the New Berlin community, the trail has led us to the pursuit of a building program. 

     This new facility will be a hospital to the hurting - for those who have drug and alcohol abuse probelsm, those recently experiencing a divorce, and thos who are bound by sin.  It will also be a refuge - a place that you can access throughout the day for prayer, and a place to seek counsel.  It will be a place that creates community - it will be equipped with a gymnasium for youth and adults alike to make use of, and a place for special events to take place.  Lastly, it will be a place that we can call home.

     Living Word Church is committed to the local community.  Through prayer, fasting, and following God's lead, we believe that revival can take place and lives will be changed forever.  Part of our commitment is in our giving.  This includes our time, talent and resources.  We have all been blessed, and what better way to show God how thankful we are than by giving it back to Him.  Just like in the Bible, God continually takes what we give and multiplies it.  This is not about a structure, but rather about us as a body of believers "Embracing the Dream."
